School Outreach and Multi - Disciplinary Arts

The School Arts Outreach Program, endorsed by the Kavango East Regional Council Directorate of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts, and Culture (DoEIYSAC), brings creative education directly to primary schools in the Kavango East Region, where formal arts education is often absent or severely under-resourced. Through structured school visits, HOTA introduces learners to visual arts, dance, and theatre in engaging, interactive, and culturally relevant ways. Each session provides hands-on experience in creative expression, teamwork, confidence building, and foundational artistic skills not typically offered in the standard curriculum. By addressing this critical gap, the program nurtures early-stage creativity, strengthens cultural identity, and supports the holistic development of children across the region.
